What the Term End paper looks like

From your course policy Policy p. 10 and the 2025-26 papers:

  • 2 hours, 50 marks (scaled). 7 questions of 10 marks; Q1 compulsory (four 2.5-mark parts) and any 4 of the remaining 6.
  • About 22 minutes per 10-mark answer β€” so each answer needs a definition, a structured list of points, and usually a diagram.
  • Both 2025-26 papers took about half their marks from the post-midterm units: Q1 had an inflation part and a money/central-bank part, and three of the six optional questions came from inflation and the Phillips curve, the central bank and money, and Unit 5 (CSR, industrial policy).

All 20 questions from the Final and Re-Exam are answered on Solved Papers, each with what the official key expects.

If you have only a few days

  1. Diagrams first β€” circular flow, consumption function, IS-LM, business cycle, demand-pull and cost-push, the two Phillips curves, the liquidity trap. These carry the 10-mark answers.
  2. The most-examined topics β€” inflation (four questions in two papers), stabilisation policy and the liquidity trap, the central bank, CSR and industrial policy.
  3. Short Notes "Open with this" boxes β€” those are your Q1 answers.
  4. One pass through Solved Papers β€” to see the length and structure a full-marks answer needs.
